Voyage Maison - Our favourite five

Based in Scotland, Voyage Maison is one of the leading textile companies in the UK. Their fabrics reflect a contemporary, country lifestyle. They utilise British woven cotton, linen and wools to translate their artwork into fabrics and home accessories. Here are our favourite five fabrics - although it was difficult to choose from all their wonderful designs!

#1 Morning Chorus fabric

#1 Morning Chorus fabric

One of our bestsellers - the Morning Chorus fabric evokes a feeling of the British countryside with its watercolour drawings of birds and wild flowers. If you want to create a country style interior then this curtain fabric would be a good place to start. Your walls could be painted either in a neutral colour or in one of the many pastel colours featured in the fabric. Also keep the rest of your room in pastel shades and you will have a relaxed and restful room.

#2 Highland Cattle fabric

#2 Highland Cattle fabric

As its name suggests, this fabric features watercolour images of Highland Cattle. This fabric would be great to use if you were creating a Scottish themed study in your home and would look great when teamed with a tartan fabric. Matching cushions are also available and would be perfect placed in a comfy leather armchair.

#3 Arielli fabric

#3 Arielli fabric

Arielli is one of our best selling plain fabrics and is available in a number of different colourways so there is bound to be one to suit your scheme. This plain fabric can be used as an upholstery fabric or for curtains and blinds. With a martindale rub test of 40,000 it would be perfect for revamping an old armchair or sofa.

#4 Colscott fabric

Colscott fabric is from Voyage Decoration's new Tiverton range. It's a pretty floral fabric with a thistle design. A classic watercolour design in pretty pastels, this fabric would make beautiful curtains for a contemporary cottage style room. Also in the Tiverton range are a variety of co-ordinating fabrics which could be used for cushions. Keep walls and floors plain so that the fabric is the focal point of the room.

#5 Rosa fabric

From their very popular Diffusion collection, Rosa is a large floral watercolour print which is available in a variety of pastel shades. This stunning fabric from Voyage Decoration would suit a contemporary home where it would look great made into full length curtains. Use another fabric from this range, for example, Raindrops fabric, for con-ordinating cushions.
